How to find The Three Shires:

Cruises start from Lock 18 moorings at Woolsthorpe by Belvoir.

Make for the Dirty Duck Public House Postcode: NG32 1NY .  Enter the pub car park and park on the left hand side immediately inside the gates.

Cross the canal bridge, go through the kissing gate to your right and walk up the surfaced towpath, passing Lock 17, to arrive at Lock 18 moorings (5 minute walk).  Our skipper & crew will be there to greet you.

Parking by kind permission of Lynne & JF, licensees of the Dirty Duck

Enjoy good food at the Dirty Duck 01476 870111

Please do not confuse Woolsthorpe by Belvoir, with Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth – you’ll miss the boat  😉

*Please  note, due to Covid compliance, there are no toilet facilities on 30 minute trips

And finally, enjoying a cruise is only one of the fabulous things you can do in and around Grantham (Covid permitting): Discover South Kesteven

Cruises are an important income stream to us, enabling our volunteers to continue restoring this great canal

Reduced sizewe don’t just drive boats – we drive the restoration
