Stenwith Locks

The Stenwith Locks are part of the Woolsthorpe flight of seven.  The top three have already been restored. The remaining locks are currently subject to a Heritage Lottery Fund Application – see the home page for more detail.

NB. This work is now underway (December 2015)

November 2018: The restoration/rebuild of Lock 15 is now complete and volunteers have moved onto Lock 14 – another major rebuild

HLF funding is enabling two of the remaining locks four locks in this flight to be restored, with the engineering study to be carried out on the last two (Locks 12 & 13).
